It's cool and cute, but when the waist is tight, the fabric gets pulled and the buttons come undone easily, exposing your underwear. It's probably not a good idea to tighten it too much.

It's a really refreshing and cute dress, but the buttons on the shirred parts tend to come undone, so I had to button them up over and over again, and when I didn't notice that a button had come undone, I ended up walking around town with my stomach completely exposed (･_･;
