I bought this to compare with the lace-up engineer boots I bought previously. If the width is not wide, it can be tight even if the size fits, so I paid attention to the width and size. The engineer boots are 22.5-23cm in size S and 22.4cm in width, which was very comfortable for me. The retro heel lace-up boots this time are the same as the engineer boots, with the size S being 22.5-23cm. However, the width is different to 21.8cm. If you are looking for a width similar to the engineer, you should also consider the M size, which is 23.5-24cm and 22.5cm in width. As mentioned above, if the width is not wide, it is tight even if the size is the same, so I ended up purchasing the M size. When I received the boots and tried them on to compare them, I found that the width was almost the same! It was a comfortable width! So, please consider not only the size of your foot but also the width when purchasing. In particular, the retro heel is slimmer than the engineer, has a tight overall design, and the heel height is also higher. Be sure to check the size carefully to avoid any discomfort or pain in your toes!
